A standout opportunity within an award-winning South East law firm, joining a busy and well-regarded Real Estate Group in Brighton.

This role specialises in residential conveyancing within the thriving retirement living sector — a fast-paced, high-demand market where exceptional client service and sharp time management are essential.

The successful candidate will manage their own caseload under supervision, handling end-to-end residential property transactions including purchases and disposals. A unique aspect of the role involves acting on both sides of a client's move — typically assisting retirement living buyers whilst simultaneously handling the sale of their existing home.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a residential conveyancing caseload across purchases and disposals within the retirement living sector

• Supporting Associates and Partners on more complex matters as appropriate

• Maintaining awareness of market developments in residential and commercial property

• Attending and contributing to group meetings and the firm's training programme

• Continuously developing technical expertise and keeping knowledge up to date

• Promoting the vision and culture of the firm

Basic Requirements

Qualified Solicitor or Lawyer with experience in residential conveyancing

• Strong communication and client-facing skills

• Excellent time management with the ability to handle a busy caseload efficiently

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in retirement living or later living property transactions

• Familiarity with acting on simultaneous purchase and sale transactions

• Previous experience in a Legal 500 or award-winning practice
